ARRC provides the short line and regional railways in Canada with a strong voice dedicated to promoting the interests and issues affecting the viability and competitiveness of this maturing industry.

ARRC is uniquely positioned to articulate and advocate the interests of the industry to the public, federal, provincial and municipal governments, as well as to other interested stakeholders. ARRC is also committed to raising the profile of the short line and regional railways and to communicating the important economic impact of a healthy, viable industry at the regional and national levels.

Members also benefit from advisory and other support services where these can be provided on a cost-effective basis through the Association.

Membership in ARRC is open to all short line and regional railways in Canada, both passenger and freight.

ARRC offers both open and confidential memberships. The confidential option is available to any railway that wishes to support ARRC and take advantage of the significant benefits offered by ARRC membership, but who would only be in a position to do so anonymously.
